Dial 911 for Life-Threatening Conditions

Dial 911 is the fastest way to get lifesaving treatment if you are experiencing a life-threatening condition. At the first sign of a heart attack or stroke, call 911. Reducing the time it takes you to receive emergency medical treatment is the primary factor in surviving a heart attack or stroke.

Urgent Care

Knowing when to go to an urgent care vs. an emergency room can help you get the most appropriate medical care. An Urgent Care center is for conditions that cannot wait for an appointment with your primary care physician, but that are not life-threatening emergencies. If you have a life-threatening, emergency medical condition skip the urgent care and go directly to the ER or dial 911. Find an urgent care near you.
