At Abrazo Arrowhead Campus, we want to empower every expectant mother with an experience that is safe, happy, and healthy and our comprehensive care model includes options for midwifery services. Many women choose midwives because they prefer a highly personalized approach to pregnancy, birth, and women’s health care.
What is a Midwife?
A midwife is a trained health professional with expertise in assisting women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. A certified nurse midwife (CNM) is a registered nurse who has completed a midwifery program and passed a national certification exam.

Our midwives regularly collaborate with obstetrician-gynecologists (OB/GYNs), neonatologists and other medical professionals.
