Welcome to Abrazo Community Health Network Research
Abrazo Clinical & Translational Research Institute (CTRI) transforms scientific discoveries into real-world therapies that prevent and treat illnesses and help people achieve health for life. By increasing research awareness and engaging in new studies CTRI continues to pioneer medical advancements.
What is Clinical Research?
Clinical research is a branch of medical science that determines the safety and effectiveness of medications, medical devices, diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended for human use.
What is Translational Research?
Translational research is the interpretation of clinical research findings. Translational research allows for faster and more efficient medical practice implementation, resulting in more meaningful health outcomes.
CTRI provides greater patient access to health and medical services, and improves overall patient experience.
CTRI provides a number of services to help physician investigators perform clinical studies, an essential component of bringing research discoveries from the lab bench to the bedside. Services include: experienced clinical research coordinators, management of regulatory documents and IRB submissions, budget and contract management for industry sponsored studies and regulatory and financial management for external investigators (physicians who practice at Abrazo facilities but are not employed by Abrazo).
