Dr. Veiga was born in Orlando, Florida and attended the University of Central Florida, earning a Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Microbiology in 2012. After graduating, he moved to Arizona to attend Midwestern University where he obtained a degree in Osteopathic Medicine University in 2018 and subsequently completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine. Since graduation he has worked as a hospitalist providing inpatient care at hospitals throughout the Valley and Northern Arizona. Their clinical experience has led to an interest in Infectious Disease, driving them to pursue further specialization in this field. Dr. Veiga is excited for the opportunity to collaborate, expand their clinical knowledge and skills, and continue to make a positive impact by providing medical care to patients through his participation in the fellowship program.
