Dr. Peter Mitchell is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle disorders, who has been practicing in the Valley since 1999. He has served as the foot and ankle consultant for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns and Ballet Arizona. While he treats many professional, college and high school athletes, Dr. Mitchell also enjoys helping everyday people overcome a chronic condition or injury. He gave me several different treatment options and we picked which one he thought was best. I thought Dr. Mitchell was great, he sympathized with me when I told him the other doctor I saw thought I was just trying to get pain medication and he looked at my x-ray and said, I understand why you want to have this surgery. The other doctor made me feel very bad and I was about to have surgery with that previous doctor until he made that comment to me. Dr. Mitchell made me feel normal and not label me as someone who might suffer from substance abuse. I'd highly recommend Dr. Mitchell and I'd love to give him a glowing praise on either Yelp or Google.

I was impressed by the on-line check in process - capturing all my info before the visit. And you didn't make me re-do it when I got there; the office staff acknowledged they had all my information and reviewed it before I arrived. I also appreciated receiving the complete notes after the visit. My primary care doctor does not have EMR and uses GMAIL. I actually looked into the Medical Group to try to find a PCP. Convenience, privacy, efficiency, and overall expertise all really matter to me.
