Dr. Jody Eckhardt is an Advanced Practice Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) and is board certified by the American Board of cardiovascular medicine. She works with patients that have heart disease, congestive heart failure (CHF), hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes. She has special expertise in cardiovascular testing, peri-operative risk assessments and post-operative care. Dr. Eckhardt is committed towards providing high quality one-on-one personalized cardiovascular care for patients with cardiovascular disease. Her emphasis is on preventive cardiovascular health and educating her patients on the benefits of eating and exercising optimally. She welcomes new patients.

My wife went in first at 9:00 am, my appt was at 10am. Registration desk said I can check in early and there maybe a chance they can see you early. After about 10 minutes they called my name. Jody and I had excellent questions and answers, upon scheduling my next appt in 6 months they told me my wife was already in her 2nd appt and she would only be another 10 to 15 min. She was able to come out and they also scheduled her with the same date as me. We travel from Prescott 2hrs each way so nice to both come down together.

Dr. Eckhardt is always supportive of other doctors I see. Recently one of the other doctors changed the dosages of some medications which were prescribed by Dr. Eckhardt. The other doctor felt the medications might be affecting my Kidneys. Dr. Eckhardt immediately took me off those medications and prescribed other medications which, for sure, would not affect my kidneys.

I really like Dr Jody. she is concerned about my well being. she carefully explains at questions I had and she allowed me to ask questions. I feel like I can wait to see her because she does not cut my visits short even if running late.
