Dr. Kristina Skinner is originally from Vancouver, Canada. She is a board certified Interventional Cardiologist, and also has board certification in General Cardiovascular Medicine and Internal Medicine. She completed her residency, cardiology fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Arizona. She has a special interest in preventative cardiology care, women’s health, and coronary artery disease. Dr. Skinner delivers comprehensive and compassionate care. She is also fluent in Spanish. On top her career in Cardiology, she has an avid interest in fitness and health, and also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Dr. Skinner is the best. This was a three month followup since just a week after I had bypass surgery. We had communicated via the portal a few times, which was a great help while navigating medications. In this visit, Dr. Skinner asked for questions and carefully offered her feedback to each, both for me and my wife. I also brought with me the recent measures for the excellent Cardiac Rehab clinic located in the same building. The doctor and her NP each looked over the Information, which happily was all positive for me at this time. I would recommend her in an instant.

All vital signs were taken an additional EKG was done because of symptoms I stated. It was efficient. The nurse was amazing. I wish I had her name. It's also nice when they remember who the patients are. They said hello to us when they came out to get people before us that makes a big difference that we're just not a number that we are actually a person

Doctor Skinner changed the outcome of my life. If it was not for her, I would not be here today. She is compassionate, kind, very knowledgeable. Always takes our time. She makes herself available to Me 24/7. I do not abuse that courtesy that she gave me by allowing me her cell phone number. I reached out to her on a Saturday when I was in a hospital in Lake Havasu City I accidentally called. I end up sending a text but before I can finish my text, she called me right back. She's amazing. Her staff is amazing.

I was having an afib episode when I arrived so I was pretty panicked. Dr Skinner completely put me at ease. She gave me answers which I failed to get from a 6 hour ER visit (different hospital) a couple days prior. She genuinely cared about my issues and my heart problem. She also scheduled a procedure the following week in order to fix my issue. I'm beyond grateful for this office and Dr Skinner.

One of my good experience was is that they had all of my paperwork from my previous cardiologist. I didn't need to do anything to get that to Doctor Skinner. I have told people about Dr Skinner. Since the ER at Abrazo does not have a good reputation I have told them about Dr Skinner and the care I received. She may be an exception but she really makes it easier for me to think about going to abrazo for treatment as opposed to driving all the way to Phoenix for emergency treatment
