She is really great and appreciate the interest and concern that she shows in both my mental and physical conditions. The kind honesty is what I want at my age. She's is compassionate, easy to talk to and will probably never know how much I appreciated her kindness when I lost my husband last year. She does not just tell me what I need. Collette Toronto is one of the reasons I stay at Abrazo Medical Group. She is empathetic, but I tell everyone that even at my age she reminds me of a "mom". She lets me know when she thinks I need to change something I am doing (or eating, etc) and if my labs are below expectations, she does not hesitate to tell me that I need to make some changes. She does all of this, but always makes me feel that she genuinely cares about me and this causes me to have a great respect for her and what she says. So....I listen and pay attention and strive to do better.

I have had a number of doctors over the years. There have been some that I felt so uncomfortable with that I simply left and did not return. I want my care giver to be totally honest with me, while showing me some respect and making me feel that my health really matters. I don't want to feel like a "space filler" for the cost of a visit. I don't feel that way with Collette Toronto, or I would not keep coming back. She is honest with me, whether it is good, or bad and that is how I like it, but without making me feel that she is harsh...because she really isn't. I have a lot of respect for her and know that I can trust what she tells me. That matters to me.

I was able to "register" online before arriving, so it was a very simple and quick process to "sign in". Collette Toronto saw me within minutes of my arrival. We talked at length about my current situations and health and I asked her a few questions which she was able to answer. It was a good visit.

There was a time, a number of years ago, when I could not say that, but I stayed mainly because I really appreciated my doctor and the RNs that work there. Things have changed a lot and I am very happy to say that it is very much for the better.

It is a good atmosphere at Abrazo Medical Group. The staff is helpful and nice. I have not, in a number of years, had an issue with feeling that my time waiting was unwarrantedly long. I am usually seen in a max of 10 to 15 minutes. I like it here and expect to both continue coming and to continue suggesting it to others that I talk to who are looking for a good medical group.

I have been seeing Colette Toronto for a good number of years and would not change to another care provider. She is friendly and compassionate and also has the ability to talk straight to you when you need it that gives me much confidence in her actual caring for the patients that she sees. I want to be talked to honestly (when I need to understand what is in my best health interest) with an attitude of understanding and empathy. I want to feel like my opinion is heard and considered and then balanced with information that may help me to make a wise choice, or decision that is in my best interest. Collette Toronto is all of this and I hold much respect in her opinions and appreciate the care that she seems to have for my health. She is why I am still here and have no interest in going elsewhere. Yes, I would suggest her to anyone and I have on several occaisions when the conversation has been on the subject of doctors and healthcare.

I drive 45 min just to see Colette I will never go to any other provider. She is understanding and reassuring. She knows I have extreme anxiety and panic attacks and she is always able to ease my mind. I used to recommend this practice a lot. I have been a patient for 11 years. The centralized phone system and inability to get in touch with Dr Bierman or Sherry directly for urgent matters (the portal is fine for non-urgent issues) has changed that. when Dad got very sick last year (he was a patient for 18 years) caused us to have to switch docs for him. as for this visit, Colette is a fine NP, I was happy with her treatment.

Colette Toronto is tops, which is why I've been seeing her for years though she is a nurse practitioner not a doctor. She's an extremely good listener, caring, interested & involved in my health & well-being. She alwaysresponds within 24 hours to any e-mails I send her. Even though my insurance has changed over the years I've always made sure she's in network, there's a lot to be said for continuity of care, familiarity & rapport. I'm almost 62 & have had chronic health issues since I was 30, & dealt w/a multitude of health practitioners when my mother, father & uncle were ill, so I've plenty of experience to gage my provider's performance & she gets the highest marks in every category.
