About Maedeh Kholghi
Dr. Maedeh Kholghi is a non-invasive cardiologist board-certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology and adult echocardiography. Her primary interest areas are preventative cardiology, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and women’s heart health. As a female cardiologist, Dr. Kholghi aims to bridge the gap that currently exists with the diagnoses and management of female cardiovascular patients. Apart from her clinical work, Dr. Kholghi has also been active in research–she was nationally recognized by the American College of Cardiology (JACC) for her work in heart failure research–and has authored and coauthored a number of publications.

Dr saved my life she found that fluid on my heart back in March by looking at a CT scan I had done in March that triggered her to do more tests, I had to eventually have surgery which Dr Pan performed the two of them saved me, my heart is healthy because of the preventative measures they took I recommended my husband to see her, he is on a yearly exam now I'm very happy with the Cardiology department

I have recommended her to a number of friends and they are aware of her results regarding my care. Dr. Kholghi allows and listens to me to share my concerns then interpreting what she has heard and addressing it in a manner I understand. If more clarification is needed, she takes the time to do so. From the 1st meet and greet to a solution (3 heart surgeries/procedures in 4 days) was exactly 4 weeks. My prior cardiologist had told me I was looking great, shook my hand and told me he would see me in 6 months...leaving me on the meds he had prescribed and still in afib and not doing well after just having been released from the ER the day prior. The bar was low after that experience but Dr. Kholghi didnt just meet that bar, she raised it, exceeded it and got the results needed. Fully confident in this dr and ALL services recd from her, staff and the other surgeons with Biltmore.

I was beyond happy by the way everything worked out. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was seen by someone in time for my surgery clearance. The paperwork was sent to the surgeon on the same day I was seen. Other offices were not anywhere near ans accommodating!

While the provider I saw is not the provider I will be seeing in the future, I would not mind at all seeing her in the future. My doctor has moved to this practice and was still in training. Because he is not seeing patients yet they fit me with the provider I saw. I appreciated the fact they respected my desire to remain with the doctor I have gone to for years! They never pressured me at all to use a different staff member.

Top notch experience. Arrived with some apprehension and ..even negativity and was CONPLETELY won over. We entered discouraged without much hope of a fix, just a maintenance plan. And left with a doable plan to tackle the Issue and hopefully attitude. Both husband and I were elated!
