My interaction with Dr. Tim Bert was phenomenal - exactly what I had hoped for. He seemed very knowledgeable and described my injury as well as showed me the MRI and x-rays. He provided me with 2 options and didn't try to sway my decision. I arrived an hour early but was still at the clinic for 3 hours from start to finish. Dr.Kaplan was the consulting doctor that I came to see for a second opinion after being informed that I required a total knee replacement. As a person who struggled to make and get to appointments for myself, I was genuinely surprised and grateful that my visit began immediately with X-rays. I assumed I would have to schedule imaging after a consult and then return for the results. I still have to do an MRI, but I appreciate the offer for a virtual consultation after the MRI. Dr. Bert was extremely thorough in performing exam related to my injury. He went above and beyond in reading my mri and discovering that I had a labral tear in the hip socket that was not discovered/documented by either the radiologist or Barrow Brain and Spine. His diligence and treatment approach are crucial to verify source of pain as well as proper treatment to alleviate pain. He was personable, took time to answer all of my questions and provided answers in terms that were easy to understand. His gentle administration of a cortisone shot caused minimal pain which I greatly appreciated. I am very grateful to have found Dr. Bert.

X-Ray technician was very sensitive to proving me proper apparel to change into as I wore jeans and the metal zipper obstructed C-Ray view. He was extremely sensitive and conscientious of providing appropriate privacy. He was also extremely timely. I checked in, sat down and he instantly called me in.

I saw Dr Bert about knee pain. After X-rays he indicated that there was osteoarthritis in the kneecap and a cortisone shot would be appropriate. He could tell I was hesitant because of the needle and took the time to explain the area would be cold sprayed, there would be a little pinch and a little burn. I experienced no pinch or burn and was pain free in my knee that afternoon. I enjoyed a pain free night of sleep after dealing with the pain for 2 months before seeing Dr Bert. I highly recommend him!

Overall everything went very good. It's the first time I've been to a specialist where I was taken back before my appointment time. I had an excellent experience with your office. When I called to schedule an appointment staff was extremely courteous, listened to my story and scheduled me quickly. When I arrived for my appointment I was impressed with the cleanliness of the office and once again the staff was extremely friendly. I was checked in and placed in an exam room where I didn't wait for more than 5 minutes for Dr. Bert. I felt like he took his time with me, thoroughly explained the MRI results as well as his recommendations.

Dr. Bert spoke to me at my level of education. fantastic, as that builds a good relationship with patients, regardless of where they may be at. I think of patients with PTS or TBI or any other host of cognitive or similar type barriers being factored into their care so they have a great experience and are concidered as a whole person, unique and valued.
