Susan S. Pansing, MD is a Board Certified Neurologist with over 20 years of experience. Since her residency, she has been practicing Adult General Neurology here in the Valley and has been voted a TOP DOC in Neurology by Phoenix Magazine from 2020 to 2025. Dr. Pansing believes that mutual respect and collaboration is essential in maintaining a strong clinician-patient relationship and in finding individual solutions to health issues. I always try to arrive 15 minutes to a 1/2 hour prior to appointment because I live so far away and traffic is a nightmare. I have no issues with a wait time and never had a longer wait than 5 minutes past my scheduled time, I have been seen here for a long time.

This was hands down the best appointment I've had with a specialist. Dr Pansing took great care to understand my concerns, the medical events that brought me in, what I am already doing to prevent episodes, and my family history for multiple conditions. She was very engaging in our conversation and helped me to feel safe and truly heard for the first time regarding this problem. So often specialist appointments are scheduled fifteen to thirty minutes, but the provider is in the room for five to eight minutes telling you what they already decided before they opened the door to your exam room. Dr Pansing was the opposite. Hopefully I won't need many follow up appointments, but I know I am hands that care if I do.

I am thankful to have such caring staff starting with Dr. Pansing to Laura who manages my referrals, to Nora who ensures the front desk is able to get my upcoming appts scheduled and also filling out any paperwork for insurance purposes in a timely manner with Dr. Pansing. Jacob recently began checking my vitals prior to my appts, and also reviewing my medication least and checking my vitals as well as calling me a day or two prior to my appt, as a friendly reminder. This neurology dept works as a well efficient team that also cares for their patients and listens to questions or concerns mentioned that needs to be addressed. Thank you for everything.

Dr. Pansing was excellent. She's very caring and very careful in prescribing medications that will not affect pre existing conditions. Dr. Pansing has a great bedside manner & went out of her way to help with my migraine headaches.
