About Christopher Lichtenwalter
Dr. Christopher Lichtenwalter is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who has cared for East Valley patients for more than 16 years. He joined Cardiovascular and Arrhythmia Institute (CAI) in 2010, became a partner and served as chairman of cardiology at Mountain Vista Medical Center for more than a decade. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Dr. Lichtenwalter joins Biltmore Cardiology to expand access to patient-centered cardiovascular care in the East Valley. He specializes in complex coronary interventions, vascular disease treatment and comprehensive cardiology care. Committed to personalized care, Dr. Lichtenwalter uses evidence-based medicine and shared decision-making to help patients understand their options and feel confident in their treatment choices. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, playing softball and competing in board game nights.
