Abrazo West Campus Celebrates a Decade of Lifesaving Trauma Care With Free Community SafetyFest
10 years of lifesaving trauma care is a milestone worth celebrating and AWC is inviting you to join the party!
WHO: For 10 years, Abrazo West Campus has provided advanced trauma services to residents across the rapidly growing West Valley. To celebrate this milestone, the hospital is hosting a free community SafetyFest focused on injury prevention, emergency preparedness, and community safety education. The event brings together healthcare professionals, first responders and community partners for a day of learning and family-friendly fun.
WHAT: SafetyFest is a free community event featuring emergency response demonstrations, hands-on health and safety educational exhibits, children's and family-friendly activities, safety lessons, and opportunities to interact with local first responders and healthcare professionals, including:
- Abrazo West trauma and emergency care teams
- Local police, fire and EMS partners with helicopters, firetrucks, and ambulances on display
- Community health and safety organizations
- Free refreshments and giveaways
WHEN: Sat., October 31, 9 a.m. - Noon

WHY: SafetyFest celebrates 10 years of trauma care at Abrazo West Campus and serves as a reminder that injury prevention, emergency preparedness and access to timely care save lives. As West Valley continues to grow rapidly, the need for advanced emergency services and trauma care has never been greater.
The celebration also recognizes the collaborative efforts of physicians, nurses, EMS professionals, firefighters, and law enforcement personnel who work together every day to protect the health and safety of our community.
