PHOENIX — Abrazo Health is pleased to announce it is now in-network with Banner Medicaid, also known as Banner – University Family Care (BUFC). This new participation significantly expands access to high-quality, timely care for Arizona’s Medicaid program (AHCCCS) members throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area and surrounding communities.

Banner Medicaid members can now receive care at participating Abrazo hospitals and physician practices. Covered services include emergency services, inpatient care, and medically necessary interfacility transfers.

This partnership reinforces Abrazo Health’s ongoing commitment to improving access to care for patients across Arizona, especially those in rural and underserved areas.

Abrazo Health Emergency Departments provide immediate evaluation and stabilization services without delay, regardless of insurance status, in full compliance with EMTALA requirements.
