Recipe: Dick’s Salt Free Seasoning

Limiting sodium in your diet may help control any condition that causes buildup of extra water in your body, such as high blood pressure, heart failure or kidney disease. Even if you are on a medication to help lower blood pressure or remove fluid, it’s still important to follow a low sodium diet. You’ll never miss the salt with this go-with-everything seasoning mix.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • ¼ tsp. celery seed
  • ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. turmeric

Directions:

Mix all the ingredients together. Store in an airtight container.
