Hello everyone! My name is Devi Dearmon-Moore and I am so excited to officially be a part of the Abrazo family! I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and consider myself to be an Arizona girl at heart. I received my Bachelor’s degree in biology and Spanish from Smith College, where I was also a member of the collegiate swim team (butterfly and freestyle are my strokes of choice). Tired of the cold weather, I returned home to Tucson where I started work as an assistant in a research lab at the UofA College of Public Health studying cancer in firefighters. I began obtaining my MPH degree before matriculating to the UofA College of Medicine in Tucson. My areas of interest include public health, women’s health, and sports medicine. While not in the emergency department, I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, swimming with a local master’s swim team, and hanging out with friends. The high level of acuity and friendly culture drew me to Abrazo, and I am thrilled to be staying in Arizona, continuing my medical training serving my community.
