About Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Abrazo Health is working closely with our local health department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to respond to any potential coronavirus cases in our area. We routinely treat infectious diseases at Abrazo Health. We have strong infection control policies, procedures, and systems in place to screen and treat patients. We are committed to keeping our patients, our staff, and our community safe. For more information about the coronavirus, go to the CDC website.
Abrazo remains focused on patient safety for our community. Anyone entering our hospitals must abide by facility requirements for COVID symptom screening upon entry, wearing a mask at all times and hand hygiene. Those not meeting the precautions criteria will not be permitted to enter the hospital.
Hospital visitation policies at each facility can change based on ongoing COVID trends. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Current visitor policies are as follows:
One support person for outpatient elective procedures (pre-procedure only), or for inpatient procedures; one support person for beginning or end of life situations; or one support person for special circumstances where the support will benefit patient care (confused, dementia, disabled patients, etc.).Read more about how our parent company, Tenet Healthcare, is supporting our community through COVID-19.
