About Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Abrazo Health is working closely with our local health department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to respond to any potential coronavirus cases in our area. We routinely treat infectious diseases at Abrazo Health. We have strong infection control policies, procedures, and systems in place to screen and treat patients. We are committed to keeping our patients, our staff, and our community safe. For more information about the coronavirus, go to the CDC website.
Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our patients, visitors and staff, Abrazo Health hospitals are implementing the following policy for hospital visitors effective at 7 a.m. Friday, March 20:
We are under a No Visitors policy to ensure the safety of our patients and staff during this time.
Exceptions may be made for certain patient groups, such as patients in labor, end-of-life and certain exceptions for discharge support. These will be managed through each facility’s leadership team.
These measures will be in effect until we are advised by the CDC or local public health authorities that it is safe to return to normal visiting practices. We are committed to keeping our patients, our staff and our community safe.
We appreciate your support and understanding at this time.Read more about how our parent company, Tenet Healthcare, is supporting our community through COVID-19.
