Our OB Laborists CARE about you and your baby
The hours right before your baby arrives can be among the most exciting, surreal and overwhelming moments of your life. But from the minute you enter Abrazo Arrowhead Campus, you and your baby are in the best possible hands.
We strive to provide the highest quality of care from start to finish, even if your physician is delayed in arriving to our hospital. That’s because we have OB Laborists on-site available 24-hours a day who can manage every step of your labor
and delivery.
We know that no two births are alike. Your experience - and your baby’s experience - will be as individual as you are. You might require special care or perhaps you wish to have a vaginal birth after a prior cesarean section. No matter your case,
we are here to help. Our OB Laborist will monitor you and baby closely to provide any care necessary to ensure you may have the safest labor and delivery experience possible.
Our laborists are:
- Board Certified
- Available on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Can perform examinations, review test results and monitor fetal heart rates when needed
- Highly skilled at providing emergent care and vaginal births after caesarean sections
- Trained in a variety of delivery techniques and are prepared to manage every type of labor and delivery experience
As an Abrazo Arrowhead Campus patient, you will have access to our OB Laborists, providing 24-hour physician care and emergent labor and delivery services.
These professionals are dedicated to providing you and your baby with consistent, thorough and quality healthcare, any time and under any circumstance.
Working as a team
Our top concern is a healthy and happy mom and baby. That’s why we team your physician up with our OB Laborist and other specialists. Your team will share pertinent medical records as needed, discuss treatment reports and make themselves available
to answer all of your questions. We also will connect you with any additional services you may need or want, including lactation support or in-home care.
