Abrazo Central Campus is now certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, reflecting the hospital’s investment in neuroscience talent and capabilities. The certification affirms that Abrazo Central addresses the full spectrum of cerebrovascular diseases – diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and education – and establishes clear metrics to evaluate outcomes. It is based on standards created by the Brain Attack Coalition and the American Stroke Association, and granted by DNV GL Healthcare, a certification body operating in more than 100 countries. Abrazo Arrowhead Campus receives national recognition for total joint replacement of knees and hips

GLENDALE (Aug. 4, 2017) – Abrazo Arrowhead Campus has been designated an Aetna Institute of Quality® Orthopedic Care Facility for total joint replacement for knees and hips.

Aetna recognizes hospitals and facilities in its network that offer specialized clinical services for certain health conditions. Facilities are selected or consistently delivering evidence-based, safe care. Aetna provides information about the quality and cost of health care services to its members to help them make informed decisions about their healthcare needs.
