Undergraduate: Cornell University, Ithaca, NY

Medical School: University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Fort Worth, TX

Clinical Interests: Full-Spectrum Family Medicine, Women’s Health, Preventative Medicine, Geriatrics, Underserved Communities, OMT

I was born in Vietnam but immigrated to the US at the age of four to northern California where I lived until fifth grade before moving to North Texas. Inspired by my aunt who is a physician in Vietnam and motivated by the lack of access to healthcare that many immigrants like myself faced, I knew that I wanted to practice medicine at a young age. In college, I studied biology with a minor in business with dreams of one day opening my own practice where I could provide both quality and affordable healthcare to underserved patients as I felt they deserved. I attended medical school where I found my passion for community engagement, patient education and preventative medicine through my volunteering experiences at homeless clinics and community health fairs.

I am delighted at the opportunity to join the supportive Abrazo family of faculty, residents, and staff as I begin my career as a family medicine physician. I look forward to learning new skills as well as building new relationships and lasting partnerships with patients as we work together towards long-term health.

Outside of medicine, my favorite activities include hiking, biking, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. I feel so lucky to be able to practice in a location where nature is in abundance and can’t wait to start exploring the beautiful state of Arizona.
