My introduction into Western medicine was unique, as I entered the United States as a teenage refugee from Eastern Europe. In my early years, I quickly set to work learning English and mastering biomedical science to reach my dream of becoming a physician. With my desire to serve others, I commissioned into the United States Air Force under a medical scholarship program, and on my journey through medical school fell in love with Family Medicine and its incomparable patient continuity. Once I graduated as a chief resident from my residency training, I applied for a faculty position and have been teaching residents and leading medical student education in residency programs since that time. I thrive on caring for my patients and making strong, lasting bonds with the people who allow me to care for them and their families. All this is in conjunction with my other passion of sharing the knowledge, excitement and experience I have gained with other physicians.

Having completed specialty health training with the Public Health Service in Yosemite National Park, I have a deep passion for nature, hiking, and travel. I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family. I am ecstatic to be back in Arizona, which I consider my home, and to be serving my community.
