Grace Patel was born in the village of Pinner, England, and then grew up mainly in northern New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania and then performed rigorous clinical research for one year in New York City prior to attending medical school at Georgetown University. She graduated from the Abrazo Health EM residency, where she was part of the inaugural class and also served as Chief Resident. While she originally moved across the country to AZ to be with her husband who was stationed at Luke AFB, she loves the area and will stay on as an attending. Grace joined the core faculty team upon her graduation in 2023 and looks forward to continuing to build the residency program. Her EM interests include EMS, tactical medicine, and flight medicine. She and her husband Uddit recently welcomed their first child, Asher, into their family. In her free time, she enjoys walks with her son and Goldendoodle Yogi, recreational sports, international travel, and exploring local breweries.
