In 1998 I joined the faculty at the University of Missouri Kansas City as the Director of the Family Practice Residency, where I continued my interest in caring for the underserved. In 2002, I became the Program Director at PBH Family Medicine Residency.
Throughout my career I have been involved in medical education as a medical school faculty member and clinical preceptor. I am active in the American Academy of Family Physicians at the state and national level and am a Fellow of the American Geriatrics Society and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

My wife, Dana, and I have three children and two grandchildren. I like flying, travel and cooking.
