I am a Phoenix native, hard to find these days. I lived in Phoenix until I was two, then spent a few years in Springs, Colorado before moving to Austin, Texas, where I lived for 12 years. So, I will always consider myself a Texan (Texas pride is a subject taught to every child in Texas). I then moved back to Arizona to complete my last two years of high school at Cactus Shadow in Cave Creek. I then went to ASU for two years and then moved with my parents to North Carolina. I moved from ASU with 45,000 students to Guilford College which had a total of 1200 students. It was a shock to my system but was able to survive and enjoy the benefits of a small school. After working as a substitute teacher for a year in North Carolina, I then quickly made my way back to Phoenix for Medical School.

In medical school, I was so excited about being there that I became involved in every organization on campus. I then set my sights on national goals and became the region III trustee on the board of trustees on the National Student Osteopathic Organization. So in order to continue my quest to have no life, other than my dog Ginger, I am representing interns and residents as a delegate on the American Osteopathic Association on the public relations committee. I am hoping to survive residency and stay in Phoenix to practice medicine and hope to teach in a residency program or at AzCOM.
