Robin Shepherd

Robin Shepherd has served as Chief Nursing Officer for Arrowhead Hospital since December 2013.

Shepherd joined Abrazo Health Care in February 2011 as Women’s & Infants’ Services Director of Arrowhead Hospital. During her tenure, Shepherd also served as Abrazo Regional Women’s & Infants’ Service Line leader. From June 2012-May 2013, she concurrently directed Abrazo’s Phoenix Baptist Women’s & Infants’ programs to provide leadership and accelerate perinatal safety strategies.

Her previous professional experience includes staff nurse, nursing informatics analyst, patient care services manager and service line director, as well as construction project liaison and transition planner at Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson from 1989 to 2011.

Shepherd completed the Arizona Hospital Association Emerging Leaders Program in 2009 and the Tenet Leadership Academy in 2014. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Grand Canyon University.
