Matt Kamer grew up in Glendale, AZ before moving to Denver, CO for college. He studied biology at the University of Colorado Denver and went to medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. Abrazo EM was especially appealing to Matt because of the location, the opportunity to help create the culture of a new program, and because it is the only categorical residency program at a level 1 trauma center. Outside of medicine, Matt enjoys watching NBA basketball, going hiking, spending time with his wife and dog, and unwinding with movies, books, or video games. Within emergency medicine, his interests include medical education and toxicology.
