Clinical Interest: Nutrition/Lifestyle medicine, Urgent Care, Full-spectrum family medicine

Born in Mumbai, I shifted homes from Mumbai to LA to Mumbai (again), LA (again), Utah, and finally landed myself in the beautiful, remote city of Globe, Arizona! Similar to the several shifts in cities growing up, my ‘dream career’ too had several transitions: from astronaut to interior designer to teacher to writer to a family medicine practitioner.

Passionate about nutrition and the role it plays in preventative medicine, I hope to inspire my patients to adopt simple lifestyle changes that can have immense impact on health and wellness. My goal is to advocate for the spread of evidence-based knowledge, and work closely with patients to develop a lifestyle plan that is well suited for them, one which they will most be likely to adhere to for the long-term.

Having grown up in a rural community during the formative years of my life, I have a strong pull to serve the underserved community, to help and heal those with limited resources. Kindness, for me, is of the utmost importance and it translates to providing equal and quality care to all patients.

I am fluent in Hindi and Gujarati, with a fondness for the English language, grammar, poetry and literature. For fun, I enjoy reading, dancing, writing, and relaxing with a hot cup of coffee (multiple cups if the day demands it!)
