It’s a sincere privilege to return home to the Phoenix area and take the next steps in my medical education. I was originally born in Romania and after winning the green card lottery, my family and I immigrated to the United States when I was 7 years old. I spent most of my time in Peoria and Glendale and attended Arizona State University at the West Campus where I studied Biology. Thereafter, I worked as a high school tennis coach and as a medical scribe for a couple years before moving to Iowa where I studied medicine at the University of Iowa. Outside of medicine, I spend my time enjoying the beautiful Arizona outdoors by exploring hiking trails in the multitude of mountains in the Valley and playing sports like tennis, basketball, and golf. I’ve had the pleasure of volunteering at nearby organizations like Habitat for Humanity and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. I am fluent in Romanian and have enjoyed immersing myself in the Romanian community here in Phoenix. The diversity of Phoenix’s population is immense and growing every day. I look forward to working alongside the people at Abrazo and the people in this great community to help them achieve their health goals.
