Billing & Insurance Questions
Our hospitals are committed to providing quality care to our community. To keep that commitment, we must work with you and your insurance carrier to help manage costs.
Our hospitals request payment for services at the time that they are rendered. A Patient Access staff member will notify you of your estimated financial obligation, such as co-insurance and deductible amounts, based on our information received from your insurance carrier.
This is only our estimate, as the final amount that you owe is determined by your insurance company, based on your policy, when they process your claim.
For patients who do not have insurance coverage, we will also review your situation to see if we can help you qualify for AHCCCS (Medicaid) or an exchange insurance plan.
Our hospitals will work with eligible patients and families to secure financial assistance or charity programs to pay for hospital services. If patients and their families are not eligible for government or charity programs, our hospitals may be able to offer financial assistance in the form of discounts and payment plans. Qualifications for many assistance programs require applicants to meet federal poverty income guidelines based on their Federal Poverty Level.
