Stan Holm, FACHE, has more than 20 years of experience within acute healthcare facilities.

In February 2013, Holm joined the Abrazo leadership team in Arizona, serving as the CEO for West Valley Hospital, a 188-bed campus in Goodyear, Arizona.  West Valley Hospital recently completed a $26 million tower, operating room and emergency room expansion project.  The community hospital joint ventured an ambulatory surgery center in January 2014, became a Level 1 Trauma Center in July 2014 attracting over 50 surgical specialists to the medical staff, implemented Cerner Electronic Health Records in August 2014 and launched da Vinci Xi surgical robotic services in September 2014.     

Prior to joining Vanguard, Holm worked in leadership roles for Health Management Associates in multiple organizations in Oklahoma, Florida and Tennessee beginning in 2003. He previously worked for Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, Texas for eight years. 

Holm is a board-certified healthcare executive, a board-certified healthcare financial professional and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.  His major strengths include building trust; leading through difficult change; empowering leadership with a deliberate focus on patient, family, physician and associate satisfaction; developing cooperative physician relations; physician practice acquisitions; and development of revenue-generating service lines. 

Holm has held numerous leadership roles in community organizations such as WESTMARC, Rotary, Boys & Girls Club, United Way, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and Chambers of Commerce.

Originally from Oklahoma, he received his Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and earned a Bachelor degree from the University of Oklahoma.
