Undergraduate: Angeles University Foundation

Medical School: Our Lady of Fatima College of Medicine

Clinical Interests: Hospital medicine, Full-spectrum Family Medicine and SportsMedicine

I was born in the Philippines, moved to the United States when I was 1-year old and raised in Sacramento, California. I attended Sacramento State University for two years and then chose to study abroad. I earned my nursing degree in the Philippines at Angeles University Foundation.

While completing medical school in the Philippines, I participated in many missions that helped the underserved communities. We provided health education and implemented preventive measures to the members of that community as well. I believe this is where my passion for Family Medicine was solidified. I realized how important it was to have a physician that could facilitate these measures in a community, and moreso in the underserved areas.

My medical interests include sports medicine, hospital medicine and full spectrum medicine. Outside of medicine, I enjoy weightlifting and mixed-martial arts. I’ve always been active in sports. I wrestled in high school and in recreational leagues. I am currently active in Crossfit. Due to the sheer volume of training, it is the closest activity that mimics my wrestling days.
