Prepared Childbirth Saturday Express - Arrowhead Campus

This class is designed for mothers (and their partner) who have never attended preparation classes. This class includes a virtual tour of the labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery units. The hospital admission procedures and routines are covered.

This class covers many aspects of pregnancy and childbirth:

- Physical and psychological changes

- Hospital admission procedures and routines

- Stages of labor

- Medical interventions

- Cesarean birth

- Pain management options

- Partner's role in labor and delivery

- Breathing and relaxation techniques

In addition the class covers information about the recovery period for mom and baby, newborn procedures after birth, newborn appearance, choosing a pediatrician, post-partum care, and PPD.

**You do not need to register your partner/coach separately**

Please be aware that classes are non-refundable if cancelling less than one week in advance and a $10 fee will be assessed. This does not apply to an absence due to a medical condition. Make-up classes are available.
