Born in Albania, he attended medical school at University of Tirana Faculty of Medicine, and completed several years of post graduate education in Albania. After coming to the United States, Dr. Loli completed his residency at Maricopa Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in cardiology at Banner Good Samaritan.
Dr. Lolis research interests include endothelial dysfunction, aging, and molecular basis of cardiovascular diseases.

My cardiologist had a conversation with my nephrologist when he could not control my congested heart failure and my kidneys were failing from a hospital born infection from a foley while I was hospitalized and I believe it what helped me regain and get better. Both my specialist worked together to help me get to a stable place where I could be discharged home. Now dr Loli helped me get a device that makes it easier for me to do dialysis with my heart issues that were preventing me being able to do dialysis safely so I am first to say I appreciate my cardiology team

Dr. Loli saved my life, literally. I had a stress test that showed a difference in my heart rhythm from the last time, and Dr. Loli ordered a CT scan. It showed that my arteries were clear, but it also showed a spot in my lung. After the spot was biopsied, it was determined I had lung cancer, and underwent a lobectomy and chemo, and my last CT scan showed no cancer. If it wasn't for that CT scan Dr. Loli ordered, who knows how much the cancer would have spread? I quit smoking 30 years ago, so was out of the range of approval for checking lung cancer. I highly recommend Dr. Loli, and thank him for saving my life. He is a major rock star in the health care community!

I had two tests performed before my scheduled time with Dr. Loli. During my testing Dr. Loli was called away and I was seen by Dr. Gonzalez. Dr Loli is an empathetic, intelligent and extremely competent physician. His mix of humanity and expertise as a doctor makes him a holistic practitioner that goes beyond just cardiology. I had written Dr. Loli about a medication issue Sunday; I received a portal reply Monday and a voicemail for an appointment for me on Tuesday. I called back and left a voicemail to confirm Tuesday's appointment, and received a confirmation through the portal. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Loli. I spent years not getting an answer to my problem, until I saw Dr. Loli. I recommend Dr. Loli often, and those people end up recommending him to others. I came in for a medication change, and he explained to me how the new medicine worked, what to do if I'm not tolerating it, what the goal is for me. I left feeling confident I understood what I needed to. He listens well which gives me confidence that we're on the same page. And I can't say enough about his kindness. I'm a younger patient and it's humbling to need cardiology care at my age (diastolic dysfunction) but he's always treated me with respect and kindness, making it easier to make and keep my appointments, instead of dreading them. This visit was no different. I'm beyond happy to have found Dr. Loli and that his help, intuition, and expertise has helped give me a large portion of my life back.

Dr. Loli is one-of-a-kind. I trust his judgment whole-heartedly. Because my case is complicated, I really appreciate that he explains to me what he's thinking, and why he's ordering specific tests. His 'bedside manner' is great; he's a kind and compassionate practitioner.
