Brent Hansen, DO is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with over 15 years of experience in orthopedic surgery and joint replacement. Dr. Hansen specializes in ACL knee reconstruction, arthroscopic knee surgery, total knee replacement and revisions, total hip replacement, rotator cuff salvage surgery and arthroscopic shoulder surgery as well as shoulder replacements.
Aside from his clinical duties, Dr. Hansen has presented research and new techniques in joint replacement and authored several scientific peer-reviewed articles. He has held faculty positions at Midwestern University and A.T. Still University. Dr. Hansen has provided team coverage for Mountain Ridge High School, Raymond S. Kellis High School, Copper Canyon High School, Sunrise Mountain High School, Millennium High School and Glendale Community College where his is currently the team doctor.
In his spare time he enjoys sports, fitness, travel and reading.

Dr Hansen was the first doctor/surgeon I have met with in this state that was honest with me about the situation. He explained just how serious and unfortunately damaging the previous surgery I had was and what damage it caused. He also explained very well what may happen if I had someone try to go in and try to correct the terrible situation. I truly appreciate honesty and I respect him telling me exactly what my options are and referred me to the US expert in his field to get his expert opinion on what my true options and odds would be. Please give him my best and whatever happens with this review know from a patient that has been to over 12 different doctors and had his entire hips replaced and and both revised as well as my rt knee, that Dr Hansen is a gentleman and very well respected and knowledgeable about his specialty. I only wish I had encountered him prior to being manipulated and lied to and now unfortunately have to live a lifetime in terrible pain with unnecessary stress and scar tissue. He let me know the remedy may not be fast and the likely outcomes of following his direction. I came in not knowing what to expect. I was very nervous and Dr. Hansen was able to ease my mind about what I was dealing with. He was able to tell me what some of the things I might just be going through. He gave me the feeling that at least he knows what he is talking about! He is very up to date on techniques and his tapping of my knee was nearly painless. He gave me something to look forward to as far as progress.

I was very pleased at the service I received. from the moment I walked in til the moment I walked out. Your front desk lady's are very professional and polite. The X-ray and PA gentleman were very patient and helpful knowing I was in pain, and DR. Hansen was extremely helpful by explaining in detail what was causing my pain and how to treat it. 5 Star all the way.
