PARADISE VALLEY HOSPITAL’S REHABILITATION AND WOUND CENTER MOVES TO NEW LOCATION

Medical plaza offers larger space, improved care and patient-friendly environment

PHOENIX (March 1, 2010) – The Rehabilitation and Wound Center at Paradise Valley Hospital has recently moved to a new location at the state-of-the-art Paradise Valley Medical Plaza, located on the campus of Paradise Valley Hospital. The 12,200 square foot facility offers better patient flow, larger treatment rooms, comfortable surroundings and new amenities. The Center features physical and cardiac rehabilitation, wound care and hyperbaric treatment.

An open house event will be held on Thursday, March 25 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Patients, physicians and members of the community are invited to take a tour of the new facility, meet the staff, and enjoy refreshments.

“Paradise Valley Hospital has provided outpatient rehabilitation services to patients for many years, but most recently the wound care and hyperbaric programs have expanded, thus our need for a larger, more updated space,” said Annie Fortnam, Director of PVH’s Rehabilitation and Wound Care. “This new facility gives our patients access to the latest medical equipment and a variety of amenities, while allowing us the opportunity for future growth.”
