What is Clinical Research?
Clinical research is a branch of medical science that determines the safety and effectiveness of medications, medical devices, diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended for human use.
What is Translational Research?
Translational research is the interpretation of clinical research findings. Translational research allows for faster and more efficient medical practice implementation, resulting in more meaningful health outcomes.
For Patients
CTRI provides greater patient access to health and medical services, and improves overall patient experience.
For Physicians
CTRI provides a number of services to help physician investigators perform clinical trials, an essential component of bringing research discoveries from the lab bench to the bedside. Services include: experienced clinical research coordinators, management of regulatory documents and IRB submissions, budget and contract management for industry sponsored trials and regulatory and financial management for external investigators (physicians who practice at Abrazo facilities but are not employed by Abrazo).
