I am the furthest thing from a city-boy but am still home-grown and home-bound. I grew up in the small, close-knit community of Snowflake located in rural Northeastern Arizona. Becoming a family physician and returning home to Snowflake has been two inseparable dreams since childhood. I married Kendra in 2003 and we now have three beautiful and blessed children, Derek, Emily, and Sarah. My private thoughts dwell on my family, fruit trees, and tomatoes. My favorite activity is to work in my garden with my family working around me. I crave the outdoors but am generally preoccupied with the ground (as are my children) trying to collect new minerals and rock specimens while Kendra sits by reading her books...we are a simple bunch with simple needs. We are elated Phoenix Baptist will be our home for the next three years.
