  I was born and raised in a rural community in Attica, KS.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kansas and also my medical degree.  So after being in Kansas basically my whole life, my husband and I decided we were ready for a change.  We are thrilled that we matched in Phoenix and are really excited to attend our residencies here.  I chose Phoenix Baptist for the exceptionally friendly people, the unopposed training in a community hospital setting, and a gorgeous location! 

  At home I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends.  I love to shop, go to the movies, and especially getting pampered.  Since I am from flat Kansas I have not experienced the Arizona weather and nature but I look forward to exploring and hiking.
