I was born in Taiwan and moved to the States when I was a baby with my parents and sister. I have lived in New York and Colorado, but I spent most of my life growing up in Key West, FL. I then moved to Tampa, FL where I majored in Biomedical Sciences and minored in Psychology at USF. During my undergraduate career, I volunteered at a community clinic where I fell in love with the impact a physician’s knowledge and decision making can have on a person’s life. Because of that experience, I left the Sunshine State to pursue my medical degree in Des Moines, IA.
During my free time, I enjoy traveling, exercising, exploring the outdoors, eating, and spending time with my friends and family.
I rotated at Phoenix Baptist Hospital during my 4th year of med school, and I loved how much independence and teaching I was given as a student. I am excited to continue my medical training through Phoenix Baptist Hospital!
