Having grown up in Phoenix I am thrilled to be back in the Valley of the Sun for my residency training. I knew I wanted to become a doctor ever since I can remember, and becoming a family physician embodies exactly what that means to me. Not only do I have a passion for medicine, but I also have a passion for understanding the entire human condition from the human spirit to relationships. This thirst for knowledge led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology as an undergraduate. This background allows me to have an understanding and empathy for patients that will carry me through my medical career. I chose to come to Phoenix Baptist because of the unique training setting of an unopposed residency at a community hospital, and the supportive, friendly environment here created by the faculty and residents.
I very much value balance in my life and apart from medicine I enjoy cooking with my fiancé, spending time with my wonderful family and friends, traveling, working out, and doing yoga.
