I was born in Tucson, Arizona but was mostly raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I attended college at the University of Washington (Go Huskies!!!), where I met my wonderful husband on the ultimate Frisbee field. After finishing our biology degrees, I was lucky enough to convince him to trade in the cloudy days for sunny ones and we moved down to Phoenix so I could start medical school. While we’ve swapped our rain coats for t-shirts, we still manage to play Frisbee throughout the year. We still think fondly of the northwest, but are enjoying the sun while we are here!
