I was raised in Squaw Valley, a small town in the central valley of California. I have dreamed of becoming a doctor since a young age so I decided to get a head start and began college at only15 years old. I made the voyage down to the Caribbean to start Medical School and take the first steps along my path to becoming an MD! Being outside of the country, I learned a lot about the rest of the world; experiencing the life and culture outside of my own marked my awareness of the underserved population and sparked an interest in international medicine.
Family is extremely important to me; growing up with six sisters and a single brother I’ve learned the significance of being around people I can rely on. I enjoy spending as much time as possible with family and friends—especially my adorable nephew and sweet little nieces! Other activities I take pleasure in are horseback riding, running and playing golf; things I hope to do more of in Phoenix!
