  • Undergraduate School: University of Ilorin, Nigeria

Medical School: University of Benin, Benin-city, Nigeria

Clinical interest: Obstetrics, Women’s health, underserved population and mission work

I was born and raised in Nigeria. I am a Woman Religious, a member of the Order of the Congregation: Daughter of Mary Mother of Mercy, whose major apostolate is to show God’s mercy and compassion in caring for the poor, the sick  and the needy in hospitals, orphanages and homes. During my undergraduate study I observed that many lives were lost due to lack of access to proper healthcare in many poor rural and urban communities. This motivated me to join the medical profession to provide holistic and compassionate healing to the sick in underserved areas.

My interest has been to practice the full spectrum of family medicine with special interest in obstetrics with the goal of reducing maternal/infant mortality in underserved areas.

For leisure, I enjoy visiting family and friends, having some time for retreat, reading, and doing mission work. I am happy to be part of Phoenix Baptist Family Medicine residency.
