Dr. Reichard is a third generation Californian who came to Phoenix Baptist with 20 years of experience in residency education. He grew up in southern California, attending medical school at Loma Linda, and FP Residency at San Bernardino County Medical Center (now Arrowhead Regional). He remained there for two additional years as a Faculty Development Fellow before leaving to serve as Director of Education at a Chicago area FP Residency.
Dr. Reichard enjoys all aspects of Family Practice, from OB to psychosocial issues to office procedures and inpatient medicine. He actually likes complex cases and "difficult patients." He is always up for discussing the future of health care, computers, photography or anything philosophical. He has been active in academic and professional organizations regarding many issues, including the future of Family Practice, evidence-based medicine, research, competency-based education, and Behavioral Science.
He has two children that he visits regularly in Montana. He loves team sports, good restaurants, thought-provoking movies, and getting away to Lake Powell.
