I was raised in Idaho Falls, a small town in southeast Idaho. After graduating from high school, I served a two-year mission for my church in Bolivia and Peru. After my mission I attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where I received a B.S. in Neuroscience. I attended medical school at Midwestern University in Arizona with the goal of becoming a family medicine physician.
I believe the role of a family physician is to listen to patients and, together as a doctor/patient team, provide the majority of healthcare-related services including education, procedures and disease prevention.
My wife, Jennifer and I have a son named Tyler and are expecting our second child. I enjoy sports, family time and participating in church functions.
