I grew up in Glendale, Arizona the youngest of four boys. We loved playing sports and doing things together as a family. Having a father as a family physician was a blessing, but I didn’t always know that I wanted to follow in his footsteps. Without any pressure from him, I discovered my passion for medicine on my own and pursued that goal since high school.
I graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Biology and went on to attend Midwestern University back home in Glendale, Arizona. Along the way, I met and married my beautiful wife Megan and we have added two fun, little boys and are expecting a baby girl any day. I enjoy spending time with my family, participating in church activities, playing board games, watching movies, and playing/watching sports. I have a great interest in Sports Medicine and hope to be able to work with athletes of all ages in my future practice.
We love living in Arizona and are thrilled with the opportunity to stay close to home for residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital. Life has come full circle for me, as this is where I would come as a child when I was ill and where my father sent his patients for treatment.
