Meals To Go Program Delivers Fresh, Healthy Food

Ideal for people living with diabetes, heart-related issues or those watching their weight

PHOENIX (Nov. 28, 2011) – Convenient, affordable, delicious and less than 500 calories each, Abrazo’s new Meals To Go program gives people in the community an opportunity feel good about what they are eating. Created with guidance and nutritional evaluation from hospital dietitians, 11 well-balanced meals are now available for only $6.00 each including tax and can be picked up at three different Abrazo hospital locations.

Originally created to assist people living with diabetes and heart-related issues, Meals To Go offers quick and easy meal alternatives with each meal consisting of low fat, low sugar, low cholesterol and low carbohydrate. The program is also ideal for busy working adults and families looking for fast and healthy meal options.

Eleven meals are currently available for $6.00 including tax and include:
• Almond chicken
• Beef pot roast
• Grilled chicken breast
• Chicken fajitas
• Herb baked cod
• Roasted red pepper pesto penne with grilled salmon
• Roasted turkey
• Rosemary pork loin
• Seared salmon spinach walnut salad
• Turkey meatballs with marinara and whole wheat spaghetti
• Vegetable chop suey

Orders can be placed online at www.abrazohealth.com/mealstogo or by calling (602) 923-5660 at least 24 hours in advance for pickup Monday – Friday. Meals are currently available at Maryvale Hospital, Paradise Valley Hospital, and Phoenix Baptist Hospital; coming soon to other Abrazo locations.
