MARYVALE HOSPITAL RANKED AMONG BEST IN NATION BY THE JOINT COMMISSION

PHOENIX (October 10, 2012) – One of only five hospitals in Arizona, Abrazo Health Care’s Maryvale Hospital has been named among the best in the nation by The Joint Commission, a national evaluator and accreditor of healthcare organizations.
Maryvale Hospital is recognized as a “Top Performer” for its treatment for common illnesses including heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care.

This prestigious recognition was given to the top 18% of The Joint Commission-accredited hospitals. The list features just 620 hospitals nationwide whose quality met the accrediting organization’s stringent guidelines.
