Recently, West Valley Hospital received notification of recognition as a Cardiac Arrest Center from the Arizona Department of Health Services Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma System. As of October 1, 2009, West Valley Hospital is one of only two hospitals in the West Valley recognized as a Cardiac Arrest Center and accredited Chest Pain Center.
