Maryvale Hospital Named Among Nation's Best by Joint Commission
Maryvale Hospital ranked among the best in the nation by the Joint Commission, a national evaluator and accreditor of health-care organizations. Maryvale was among 620 hospitals nationwide which was recognized as top performers for basic procedures for treating common illnesses like heart attacks and strokes.
Joint Commission recognizes accredited hospitals that attain excellence on accountability measure performance. The program is based on data reported about evidence-based clinical processes that are shown to be the best treatments for certain conditions, including heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care, children’s asthma, inpatient psychiatric services, stroke and venous thromboembolism.
